Become an Individual or Corporate Member

Membership is the democratic foundation of WECZ. By becoming a registered member, you directly support local conservation advocacy, gain voting rights in Society governance, and connect with like-minded conservationists across the continent.

SECTION 02Schools & Youth Groups

Register a Chongololo or Chipembele Club

For generations, Chongololo Clubs (primary schools) and Chipembele Clubs (secondary schools) have inspired Zambian youth to love and care for nature. Registering your school connects teachers and pupils to curriculum materials, practical conservation kits, and national events.

Receive termly educational materials, wildlife posters, club guidebooks, and activity ideas.
Participate in nationwide environmental quizzes, art contests, and tree planting competitions.

SECTION 03Grassroots Action

Volunteer with a Provincial Branch

WECZ operates through active volunteer-driven branches in all 10 provinces of Zambia. From organizing local watershed tree-plantings to monitoring wetland degradation, branch volunteers are the eyes and hands of conservation on the ground.

Participate in weekend forest clean-ups, nursery potting, and community educational rallies.
Collaborate with municipal councils and traditional leaders on local ecological issues.
Report habitat encroachment and wildlife poaching to relevant conservation authorities.
