SECTION 01Grassroots Representation

A Membership-Based Society

WECZ is fundamentally a people-powered organization. Our nationwide branch network gives members a collective platform to organize local conservation interventions, lead habitat protection campaigns, and represent community priorities to the National Council.

Democratic election of branch executive committees at annual provincial meetings.
Local platforms for members to share ecological concerns, project ideas, and research findings.
Direct channel for community input into national environmental policy submissions.
SECTION 02Field Operations

Local Community Action & Interventions

Branches bridge national environmental priorities with direct localized action. From organizing community river clean-ups in urban centers to establishing indigenous tree nurseries in deforested areas, branch committees address issues where they happen.

Coordinating local tree-planting festivals and watershed preservation campaigns.
Monitoring local wildlife poaching and illegal charcoal transport, alerting wildlife scouts.
Partnering with local municipal councils to improve neighborhood waste management systems.
